FDA recall and outbreak record for the brand's formula over five years: Limited. FDA's outbreak page says four infants in California, Pennsylvania and Washington, with illness onset in April and May 2026, were confirmed with infant botulism after consuming Nara Organics formula, and all four were hospitalised. It says one infant's sample was a genetic match to samples from the ByHeart outbreak and that supply chain commonalities indicate a common source of contamination between the two outbreaks, that all Nara Organics formula was recalled, that the product was sold at Target, Target.com and Nara.com from July 2025 to June 2026, and that the outbreak was declared over on 27 August 2026.
