Certified pre-owned e-bike marketplace (Upway)

Certified, inspected or built to a recognized fire-safety standard: Strong. Upway's own certified page says every electric bike goes through "a rigorous inspection and refurbishment process in our New York or Los Angeles UpCenter," that each bike gets a 50-point inspection covering the frame, mechanical components, drive system, battery and accessories, and that a battery is refurbished or replaced if its residual capacity is below 80% of its original value. Every e-bike comes with "a 1-year warranty against mechanical and electrical defects." This is Upway's own inspection, not a third-party fire-safety certification. source↗ 2026-09
