Low platform and payment fees, more of what is given reaches the campaign: Strong. Indiegogo's fees article states it charges a platform fee of 5% of the collected amount, plus payment processing of a fixed fee in the project currency plus 0.2 per transaction (about 3% + $0.20 in USD). Its own worked example shows a $10,000 raise pays a $500 platform fee and a $320 processing fee, netting a $9,180 payout, and the article states that if a project does not reach its goal, no fees at all are charged, including processing fees. source↗ 2025
