On December 26, 2025, third-party distributor Gold Star Distribution recalled all FDA-regulated products held at its Minneapolis warehouse, including Fancy Feast Creamy Delight Salmon, Medleys Florentine, and Gravy Lovers canned cat food, after an FDA inspection found rodent droppings, rodent urine, and bird droppings in storage areas.
